Hi, I’m Dr Avanish Tantry, a Consultant Paediatrician (children’s doctor) with over 26 years of experience. I work at the Leeds Children’s Hospital as well as privately, bringing you the very best of NHS expertise combined with the personal attention your family deserves. I’m here to help when you’re worried about your child’s health. I’m here to listen and help your family find the answers you need.
As a general paediatrician, I’m often the first doctor parents turn to. I take the time to really listen to both you and your child, carry out a thorough check-up, and explain clearly what’s going on and how best to manage it. If your child needs to see a more specialist doctor, I’ll make sure they’re referred to the right person — though in most cases, I’m able to help without needing to do that.
